Hi! We’re Jessica and Katie—lifelong theatre lovers, passionate musical creators, and devoted supporters of the theatrical arts in youth education.

 

We have a long history of involvement with musical theatre, Katie performed in 22 musicals before graduating high school, and Jessica once planned to become a theatre teacher before discovering her true passion: writing musicals. Now we have degrees in composition and media arts and we use our lifetime of experience to create shows that are filling the gap between theatre tradition and the inclusive theatre that could be (and should be).

When our friend Pam, a theatre teacher, asked us to create educational musicals that would give every student the same great educational experience, something clicked. The more we wrote, the more we fell in love with the mission.

We’re passionate about transforming theatre education by prioritizing equity and inclusion. Our shows ensure every student gets a chance to shine—with equal lines, solos, dances, and character arcs—and we’re committed to giving teachers the tools to help every performer lead, learn, and grow.
