When Johnny's crayons discover summer is coming to an end, they suddenly find themselves in a frenzy as they worry whether or not they'll be replaced by new school supplies. As they dream of a life undefined by the crayon box, the wise, worn-down Red crayon helps them see that the greatest dream of all is to help a child learn to create their dreams.
